A standard you rely on gets withdrawn or replaced. Nobody tells you.
Your technical file and your EU declaration cite standards: they are what lets you say the machine meets the law (the law calls this the "presumption of conformity"). Every few weeks the European Commission lists new standards, replaces old ones and sets a date after which the old reference no longer counts. It is published in the Official Journal. Almost nobody reads it. Feeds reads it for you, every day, and tells you in plain words what changed, whether it concerns your machines and from when.

Example — EN ISO 13849-1:2023 — the standard for the safety parts of a machine's controls — is now listed under the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 and replaces the 2015 edition. From 20 January 2027 the 2015 edition no longer counts as proof that the machine meets the law. Affected: every machine with safety functions in its controls (packaging, machine tools, robots, woodworking). What to do: check your performance-level calculations and update the reference in the technical file.

Feeds tells you what the official sources published and explains it in plain words. It does not check your machine, it does not replace the legal texts and it does not say whether your product meets a requirement: that stays with you, the manufacturer. The explanations are written by language models and checked by sampling; every item links to its source so you can verify it.
How it works
Every night, in four steps:
- We read the official sources — the Commission's lists of harmonised standards, EUR-Lex, the Commission's machinery pages, and Fedlex and SECO for Switzerland.
- We spot what changed — each source is compared with the day before; only what is new or different goes on.
- We explain it — which law, which standard is new or replaced, until when the old one still counts, which machines and sectors are affected, what to do.
- We deliver it — a short email every Monday, or a JSON API for your software.

Frequently asked questions
- Where does the information come from?
- Only from official sources: the Commission's lists of harmonised standards, EUR-Lex, the Commission's machinery pages, Fedlex and SECO. Each item links to the document it comes from, so you can check it.
- Who writes the explanations?
- Language models, following a fixed pattern: law, standard, sectors, machine types, requirements, what to do. A sample is checked by a second model. It is a reading aid, not legal advice: the source prevails.
- How fast do I hear about a change?
- The sources are read every night. Something published on Monday is in Feeds on Tuesday; the email goes out the following Monday.
- Can I try it before paying?
- The Monday email is free and shows the same items. For an API trial, write to info@gibses.com.
- How does invoicing work?
- Business customers only. Monthly subscription via Stripe (card or SEPA), invoice by email. With a valid EU VAT number outside Estonia the reverse charge applies; otherwise Estonian VAT is added. Cancel any time from the Stripe portal link in the invoice.
